Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Clermont Concrete Company website and any work you ask us to quote or do. When you use this site, call us, send a request or accept an estimate, you agree to these terms, so please read them before you go further.

If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. If a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job.

What we do

Clermont Concrete Company is a concrete contractor based in Clermont, FL. We pour and repair driveways, patios, sidewalks, pool decks, steps, garage floors, slabs, footings and other concrete work. The services and cities listed on our home page describe the work we usually take on, but listing a service or a city doesn't promise we can take every job.

The information on this site is general. Every yard and every slab is different, so nothing here replaces the on-site look and written estimate for your job. You can read more about our crew on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

We give free quotes on site, with no obligation to hire us. A written estimate is based on what we can see and measure on the day we visit, and it stays good for the period printed on it.

Some conditions only show up once the old concrete is out or the ground is dug, such as soft or unstable subgrade, which is the soil the slab sits on, buried roots, old debris or hidden pipes. If we find something like that, we'll stop, show you and explain the options before doing extra work, and any change to the price or scope has to be agreed by you before we go ahead.

Changes you ask for after you accept the estimate, such as a bigger area, a different finish or added steel, may change the price and the schedule. The written estimate or contract also states who is responsible for any permit the job needs.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We'll give you a planned start date when you accept the estimate, but it isn't a guarantee. Rain, high heat, wet ground, supplier delays and inspections can push a pour back, because pouring in the wrong conditions makes weaker concrete and we won't do that to save a day.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (352) 995-0299 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials, scheduled a concrete delivery or started work when you cancel, you may owe for those costs as set out in your written estimate or contract.

You agree to give our crew reasonable access to the work area on the scheduled days, with vehicles, pets and belongings moved out of the way.

Payment

The amount you owe, any deposit and when each payment is due are set out in your written estimate or contract. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's paid, and we may use the remedies Florida law allows to collect what's owed.

Your part after the pour

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength, before it can take foot traffic or vehicles. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk and drive on your slab, and damage from using it sooner isn't covered.

You're also responsible for problems caused after we leave by things outside our control, such as heavy equipment or trucks we didn't plan for, changes to grading or drainage by others, tree roots, harsh chemicals or ground movement.

Warranties and what they don't cover

Any warranty on your job is the one written in that job's estimate or contract. Apart from that written warranty, and to the extent Florida law allows, the work and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied.

Concrete can crack even when it's done right. We cut control joints, which are straight grooves that give the slab a planned place to crack, but small hairline cracks and slight color differences between pours are normal and aren't defects on their own.

We do our best to keep the information on this site accurate, but we don't promise it's complete, current or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, Clermont Concrete Company isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property, lost income or the cost of other arrangements while work is underway. Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing on this page limits any right you have that the law doesn't allow a business to limit.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with something, call us or reach out through our Contact page first, because most problems get sorted out faster with a conversation and a visit to look at the slab together. We'll respond and work with you in good faith to fix it.

If we can't settle it that way, either side may take the matter to a court with proper jurisdiction in the State of Florida.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or contract unless you agree to them.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Questions about these terms

If you have a question about these terms or about a job, call Clermont Concrete Company at (352) 995-0299 or send a message through our Contact page. Expect a reply within 1 business day.
